CUMPLEANOS/ BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoy Nico cumple un aňo, y para celebrarlo, hemos ido al Zoo de Singapur. Nico ha visto muchos animales (algunos por primera vez en su vida) pero tambien se lo ha pasado en grande jugando en el parque acuatico y comiendo por primera vez en KFC. Despues, estaba tan cansado que se ha echado una siesta monstruosa. Mas tarde, ha abierto regalos y ha pasado el resto de la tarde en la piscina. Por la noche, su cena favorita, pescado mientras miraba los Teletubbies, y atendia las numerosas videoconferencias por Skype. En resumen: un dia perfecto!
Today Nico is 1 year old, and to celebrate it, we went to the Singapore Zoo. Nico saw many animals (some of them for the first time in his life) but he also had loads of fun playing in the water park y having his first lunch in KFC. Later, he was so tired, that he had a siesta. After that, he opened presents and spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool. At night, he had his favourite dinner, fish, while watching the Teletubbies and while attending to his calls through Skype. In summary: a perfect day!

FIRST STEPS/ PRIMERO PASOS
Nico is finally letting go of our hand and making his first few steps in the world, at the age of 11 months.

FAMILY ROADHOLIDAY TO MALAYSIA/ VACACION FAMILIAR EN MALASIA
We all happily went to Malaysia to enjoy a few days of holidays. First we went to Fraser Hill, a very cool area just north of Kuala Lumpur, where the weather is very cool. We stayed in a very english hotel 'Ye Old smokehouse' and did several walks in the forest. It was wonderful not to sweat for a change!
After that, we continued our drive to Pangkor Island beach resort, where we were met by an awesome wildlife: monkeys, hornbills, peacocks, etc...although the biggest attraction for the tourist was Nico in the beach. He spent all his free time in the beach and ate everything he could find, while posing for tourists taking photos of him.
Fuimos los tres a Malaysia a disfrutar de unos dias de vacaciones. Primero fuimos a Fraser Hill, un area al norte de Kuala Lumpur, donde la temperatura era muy fresca. Nos alojamos en un hotel al estilo ingles y hicimos varias caminatas por la jungla. Fue increible no sudar por unos dias!
Despues, continuamos nuestro camino por carretera a la isla de Pangkor, donde encontramos numerosos animales interesantes: monos, tocos, pavo real...etc, aunque la mayor atraccion para los turistas fue Nico en la playa. Se paso todas sus horas libres en la playa y se comio todo lo que encontro a su alcance, al mismo tiempo que posaba para fotos para los turistas.

NICO IN THE WATER/NICO EN EL AGUA
In a public water playground for the first time, mum was totally unprepared for it, but Nico had loads of fun getting completely soaked. He was, of course, the youngest baby but the bravest and the wettest!
En un parque publico con chorros de agua, mama no estaba preparada para ello con ropa seca etc, pero Nico se lo paso en grande mojandose por completo. Por supuesto, era el bebe mas pequeno, pero tambien el mas valiente y el mas mojado!

My new papa/ Mi nuevo papa
Neil shaved his head for the first time for a charity event for kids with cancer. They raised thousands of dollars so thanks to all of you for contributing!
Neil se afeito la cabeza por primera vez con motivo de recaudar fondos para una asociacion de ninos con cancer. Recogieron mucho dinero asi que gracias a todos!

Singapore
We are back in Singapore and have just gotten over the jet lag. Very happy to see daddy again and friends. Missing family in Spain and UK and the weather as here is really too hot. We are naked around the house like gypsies but still sweating!
Nico is eating 2 proteins a day, so cereal breakfast, then lunch with chicken, beef or fish, an afternoon snack of fruit and sometimes yogurt, and then veggies and fish or chicken for dinner. But still not enough for him so he still wakes up every nite for a bottle feed...
Ya estamos de vuelta en Singapore y poniendonos al dia con el cambio horario. Muy contentos de ver a papa y a nuestros amigos. Pero echamos de menos a la familia en Espana y en Inglaterra, y hace tanto calor aqui... Andamos desnudos por casa y aun asi sudamos!
Nico ya come 2 proteinas al dia; cereales para desayunar, la comida con pollo, ternera o pescado, la merienda fruta y a veces yogur, y mas verdura con pollo o pescado para cenar. Pero aun asi no es suficiente para Nico, y todavia se despierta por las noches para pedir un biberon de leche!
